1. How can I get a coach hire quote?
You can fill out our quotation form on our website, call 01900 512050 or email info@hobans.co.uk.
2. How long is my quote valid?
Your quote will be valid for 28 days. However if availability changes between the date the quotation is sent out and the date you choose to accept then we reserve the right not to confirm the booking.
3. How will I receive my quote?
You will receive your quote to the email address that you provide within 24 hours during the week or by the following working day if the request is made over the weekend. If you are expecting a quote please check your junk/spam email folder.
4. What forms of payment do you take?
The preferred method of payment is by card, this can be done in person or over the phone. We also accept cash, cheques or BACS payments. 5. What happens if I want to cancel a booking?
If you would like to cancel a booking completely you would lose your non-refundable deposit however if you would like to change the booking (date, location etc) then you can transfer the deposit over to a new booking.
6. Can I bring an animal on board?
Unfortunately we do not allow any animals onto our vehicles except for guide/assistance dogs.
7. Can a child/infant sit on a parents lap?
All passengers including children and infants are required to have their own seat.
8. Can you put suitcases on-board the coach?
Small hand luggage can be taken onto the coach however all suitcases etc will need to be kept in the coach luggage locker.
9. Can I sit a courier on the seat?
Only our employees can sit on the courier seat.
10. Can we bring our own food and drinks?
No hot food is allowed to be consumed on the vehicle however we allow water and snacks to be consumed as long as all rubbish is deposited in the bins provided.
11. Can we drink alcohol?
Strictly no alcohol to be consumed on our vehicles.
12. Would multiple pick-ups/drop offs cost extra?
Any main road pick-ups or drop offs will not cost any extra as long as they are on route and at a place which is safe to stop. However it will cost extra if there are multiple pick-ups and drops that take the driver much longer to complete or are off route.
13. Would it be more expensive for evening/night hire?
The rate of Taxi Hire does increase after midnight and on bank holidays. The price of coach hire is a standard rate except on bank holidays which will increase the price of the hire.
14. Is VAT included?
VAT is zero rated on any vehicle with 10 seats and over, VAT at the standard rate on any vehicle 9 seats and under.
15. Can we pay after the hire?
All hire is payable 7 days before the date of transport. The only exception to this is if you open a credit account. For more information please email info@hobans.co.uk
