Book transport with us

If you are a passenger using transport that is contracted to Hobans

If you are the prime carer for a passenger using our service

To provide and maintain our service, including to monitor the usage of Our Service.

For the performance of a contract: the compliance and undertaking of the contract for the products or services yourself or the contractor wish to utilise from us.

electronic communication, regarding updates or informative communications related to quote or service we have provided/contracted.

To manage your requests: To attend and manage your requests to us.
Legal basis for processing
Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information for the purposes listed above are:

Legitimate interest - Holding Usage Data and Personal Data for tracking website usage, responding to your enquiries and sending you further communication about our products and services is necessary for our legitimate interests.

Contractual obligation - Holding details of our customers for correspondence, service delivery and billing purposes is necessary for the performance of a contract.

We are also required to explain what our legitimate interests are when using this legal basis under the GDPR. We have a legitimate interest in providing the service you require to the highest level. For us to do this we need to communicate to customers and prospective customers to answer enquiries, and to inform you about relevant products and services that may be of interest to you in relation to your enquiry. Retention of Your Personal Data
We will retain your personal data only for as long as is required for the purposes set out in this Privacy Notice and to the extent necessary to help inform future actions, but for no more than six months after the agreed service and/or contract has ended unless the data pertains to an active customer.
We will also retain health data/risk assessments for internal purposes of fulfilling the contract. This data is generally retained only when the service is pending, a contract is running, or if we are legally obligated to retain this data for longer time periods.
